Adaptive Reuse Athens, 2024
Feasibility study and stakeholder engagement to develop a plan to adapt a former industrial warehouse and waterfront site into a public resource for contemporary and historic boats, education, and ecology.

The site of a historic ice house and more recently used for transfer of cement and gravel is located within the Hudson Eagles Recreation Area, a multi-site State Park that encompasses seven Hudson River islands as well as tidal wetlands and vegetated shallows on both sides of the river. The 2-phase design study developed a strategy for an existing 8,000 sf warehouse that create flexible spaces and anticipates future flooding.
